Título: Me ha llegado un mail de microchip sobre un fallo de un PIC (18F**K80)
Publicado por: MerLiNz en 05 de Diciembre de 2011, 21:38:05
el mail dice esto:

Microchip recently discovered a potential issue with the above referenced devices.  The issue relates to test program coverage at final test related to the on-chip Analog to Digital Converter (ADC).  As a result, some shipments have suspect material that may include units with ADC issues.  As a result, customers may experience a higher ppm due to this issue at their final electrical test.

Microchip has already implemented containment and corrective actions.  Product shipped after December 2, 2011 has the improved screen in place.

Please see the below attachment for the affected inventory shipped to you.  Please check this information against your records.  If you have unused inventory from these shipments, Microchip requests the return of these devices.  We are currently working on the details of when we will be able to provide you with replacement product.

To return the unused inventory, please contact your Microchip Sales representative to coordinate return and replacement of these devices.
